History: Built 1980 Replaces a five span bridge built in 1900. Original bridge consisted of a 244 ft. long combination steel trestle with a 7 panel Pratt through truss bridge as its main span (130 ft.)

Two Mile North/ Golf Course Bridge

I was born in Rock Rapids, Iowa. I was cross truss bridge over Rock River. It was lost bridge. i was sad for rest of my life. I will not return in town again. i know five truss bridges were lost. i am happy two left railroad bridge with out rail in town. thank you for show pictures.
