Magill Hollow Bridge
Posted February 22, 2006, by Donna Hillis Crosby (eddon2121 [at] earthlink [dot] net)

As a child I crossed this bridge many countless times going to my maternal Grandparents' Claude and Ada Gillham's home at the end of the road. As is seen here, one could never know how the bridge looks from the ground level. How nice to see the bridge from this vantage point! Thank you very much.

Only quite recently I have discovered that I am related to all of the Magill's of this area through early settler James and Lydia Holladay-Magill on my father's side, also ancestors of the builder of this bridge. Thank you for preserving this part of the history of Hendrickson MO.

Regards,

Donna Hillis Crosby (gg granddaughter of James Magill)
