- Closed to all traffic. Renovation and reopening are rumored.
- History
- Oldest extant bridge in New York City. Built in 1848 to carry the original Croton aqueduct across the Harlem River into New York City. Five masonry arches replaced with a steel arch by the Corps of Engineers in 1927 to benefit river navigation.
