Red Cedar River Bridge
Posted October 13, 2008, by Dean Arnold (darnold [at] weoneil [dot] com)

Construction Photo from the files of L.G. Arnold Inc.,General Contractor. Story has it the bridge was originally planned to be rivited as this was the accepted practice. Contractor petitioned the State of Wisconsin to use structural bolts believed to be A325. Petition was accepted. Contractor was required to torque test every bolt. Fred Duellman of Menomonie was the Ironworker Superintendent.
