Pool At The Bend In the distance is the Mill Road Bridge. This pool, located where the creek turns north, was severely flooded in June, 2008. This area sustained a great deal of flood damage - although the Mill Road bridge suffered a washout, this Parkway bridge did not. The debris in the foreground is from the collapsed retaining wall, caused by fallen trees, uprooted in the flood. Photo taken by J.R. Manning in June 2008 |
