The bridge performs its original duty I believe this traction car is coming off the east side of the bridge, headed northbound for Sheboygan from Milwaukee. (I do not know the significance of the sign on the car that reads, "Sheboygan Local." There appears to be a walkway to the right side. There are currently outriggers that carry a walkway today, on the north side of the bridge. I believe this walkway is on those same outriggers. Note the electric power supplied to the car from overhead wires. |
